Parents of young boys face a lot of choices in after-school activities. Boys want to have fun, while parents want them to learn positive values and skills that will last a lifetime. If your boy is in second through fifth grade, Cub Scouting may be exactly what you are both looking for.

As a parent, you can be assured that Cub Scouting
  • involves a variety of family activities
  • encourages good behavior
  • teaches lifelong values
  • strengthens the bonds of family

Through the Cub Scouting program, the school can provide the opportunity for boys to adopt and live by standards that will serve as a cornerstone for success in life. Cub Scouting is the perfect framework for developing responsibility, maturity, and leadership in today's youth, enabling us to enrich the lives of boys and make a positive difference in the kind of men they will become.

Wolf Cubs are for boys in grade 2.
Bear Cubs are for boys in grade 3.
Webelos are for boys in grades 4-5.

Cub Scouting has the following purposes:
* Influences a boy's character development and spiritual growth.
* Develop habits and attitudes of good citizenship.
* Encourage sportsmanship and pride. Grow strong in mind and body.
* Improve understanding within the family.
* Strengthen a boy's ability to get along with others.
* Foster personal achievement. Develop new interests and skills.
* Provide fun and exciting new things to do.
* Show a boy how to be helpful and do his best.
* Prepare him to be a Boy Scout.
