Jon Tyson is the lead Pastor of

ORIGINS CHURCH in Manhattan New York. Jon, originally from Australia, moved to the United States to begin his ministry in Franklin, TN at The Peoples Church where he was both the student pastor as well as one of the

teaching pastors.

 

After several years in TN, Jon

followed the call on his life to Discovery Church in Orlando, FL where the student

ministry grew to more than 1200 on a weekly

basis under his direction. Within the last year Jon has once again responded to God's calling in his life to start a nextgen church planting movement in the heart of New York City, Los Angeles, CA,  and Rome, Italy.

            

             Jon understands what it takes not only to connect with people , but how to motivate and inspire them to become the generation that Christ has in mind. His ability to use

humor, story, passion and personal experience combines for a captivating presentation that

connects with the heart and changes lives.

 

Jon lives in the Upper West Side with his wife Christy and 2 kids, Nathan

and Haley.

Classes that meet during the long blocks will meet for half of the time then dismiss their students to chapel on Tuesday and Thursday

 

The evening meetings will start at 7:00 pm (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)

 

Friday at 5:00 there will be an MEW Party.  Make plans to be there! More details to come!
