At Dalat, we believe that extra-curricular
activities greatly enrich the school experience of our students. In
addition to expanding their interests and providing an opportunity to
interact with fellow students and make new friends, students can gain
skills that may develop into lifelong leisure pursuits.
Specifically, our goals for students in
this regard are to:
-
gain knowledge and acquire a skill that
will enable them to
experience success in future recreational and athletic endeavors
-
learn socialization skills and how to
relate to others in a group setting
-
develop an appreciation for the
expectations and rules of a particular club or activity
-
demonstrate a proficiency in the
activities presented
-
exhibit a willingness to put forth a good
effort and to participate as a team player
