Elementary Counselor
Born in the U.S. and
raised in Brazil, Mrs. Jacki Steinkamp received her college and graduate
education in Minnesota in secondary education and counseling. Prior to
returning to Dalat in 2001, Mrs. Steinkamp worked as the high school
counselor at Graded School, a large international school in Sao Paulo,
Brazil. Her professional experience includes teaching social studies and
psychology, college and career guidance, course scheduling, standardized
testing, and individual and group counseling. Mrs. Steinkamp is married to
Karl (director) and has three children. She is currently working part-time

Mr. James Allen
is working part-time as the middle school counselor. He is also working
at the YWAM base in Penang as the director of Member Care. Mr. Allen
received his masters degree in Social Psychology from Ball State
University, Indiana. He received training from the Pastoral Care
Ministries School in Wheaton, IL and Youth With A Mission's Family
Ministries School in New Zealand. Mr. Allen is married to Susan and has

High School &
College Counselor
Mr. Tim Parsons is joining us this year from Fairhaven Church in Dayton,
Ohio, where he served as Pastor of Student and Young Adult Ministries. Mr.
Parsons received his masters in counseling from Wright State University in
Ohio. He is qualified as a Supervising Professional Clinical Counselor in
the State of Ohio and has training in marriage and family counseling. Mr.

Spiritual Life Director
Rich Gwaltney serves as the Spiritual
Life Director at Dalat International School. He has worked with students
for over 15 years in churches, private schools and colleges. He received
his bachelor's degree in Pastoral Ministries from Toccoa Falls College
and completed his master's degree in Educational Leadership from Wright
State University in Dayton, Ohio. He is married to Kerry who teaches
high school English and they have two children, Katie and Ben. You can
