Golnaz Nazem

Senior Project: Tourism, Economy, and Culture

Golnaz Nazem completed all the requirements for the Advanced Merit Diploma and was recognized at the Dalat International School Awards Assembly and Commencement. The topic Golnaz chose to research was Tourism, Economy, and Culture. The main focus of her research was how tourism affects economies and cultures of both hosting and sending countries. Her product was creating an illustrated 50 page book based on her exhaustive research on the topic.

She presented her research and product at the senior exhibition to a panel of judges in November of 2009. Golnaz maintained a high level of academic excellence while completing two Advanced Placement courses as well as serving well over 40 hours of community service during her time in the program.
