Dalat parents, students, and alumni consistently say the one thing they appreciate the most about their time at school is the excellent teaching staff, how much the teachers care about the students, and the relationships they build together. Hear in their own words what teachers have to say about their experience at Dalat.

Dalat staff come from all over the world but since Dalat is an American-curriculum school most of the teachers come from North America. All Dalat teachers have been trained in North America.

Dalat has helped me gain a healthy perspective to find a rewarding life-balance as a professional, parent and member of a larger community.

The best part of working at Dalat is knowing you have an impact for Christ and His Kingdom. Many of my former students are now serving the Lord on the mission field or in mission-related ministries. Many of them have become pastors and teachers. It's neat to have an impact for Christ in this way. A side benefit is that you build life-long friendships with people from many different cultures and backgrounds. I can travel pretty much in any continent on earth and find former students/staff to bond with.

I have the privilege of working with students representing many countries, different first languages, different beliefs and worldviews; and I get to teach them English and help them learn a wide variety of other additional languages. How rich is that!

When we visited Dalat for the first time 17 years ago, we were immediately impressed with the energy and enthusiasm on campus! We went away saying, "Wouldn't it be great to work in a school like Dalat?" Eighteen years later, here we are! We are so thankful to be a part of this caring, vibrant community!

The community life is the best aspect of working at Dalat. As we've lived in Penang over the past six years, the school staff have become our extended family. We enjoy a sense of unity and partnership that I've not experienced anywhere else. I really love the people I work with and appreciate how each team member contributes in such unique and significant ways to our ministry. I also feel very thankful that I can raise my children in such a close-knit supportive community that is international and diverse in flavor.

My children have adopted aunts and uncles and dorm brothers and sisters as their own, all from different countries and backgrounds. Raising our children to be multi-cultural and sensitive of the needs of the world was a motivating factor in our decision to move overseas. I feel that Dalat is one of the best places to help my kids develop a Christian world view in the context of great cultural diversity.
