I like the diversity of students, representing so many countries, cultures, languages and religions. I am thrilled that we provide for them the opportunity to learn the English language in the context of education from a Christian worldview.

Please Note: Access to the Dalat Directory (via password) will be released to our community when it is officially launched in the next week or two.

Add to my iPhone/iPad

The iPhone/iPad Home Screen contains icons which allow you to easily navigate your device's many applications and features. The iPhone and iPad's Safari browser gives you the ability to add Home Screen icons which automatically open your favorite Web pages.

This tutorial shows you how to create these icons in just a few easy steps. It features iPhone screen shots - but works virtually the same for the iPad as well.

Step One

Tap your Safari App on your iPhone.

Step Two

1. In Safari go to the Dalat Directory (www.dalat.org/directory/) on your iPhone or iPad.

2 Enter the passwordif you have not already done so. (The Directory password will be released to our community when it is officially released sometime in March 2012.)

3. Once you are on the main page tap the add icon (older iPhones may have a '+' symbol). On the iPad it may be at the top of the window.

Step Three

Tap 'Add to Home Screen'.

IOS-01

Step Four

Notice the field containing the following text: Dalat Directory. This text is editable and can be changed to whatever you desire.

It is important, as this is the title which will be displayed on the iPad's Home Screen underneath the icon. I changed mine to 'Dalat Dir' as it fits on the screen better.

Once you are done, tap the Add button.

Step Five

Magic!

You should now be taken to your iPad's Home Screen. In the below screen, notice that a shortcut to Dalat Dir has been created.

Now you have quick and easy access to the Dalat Directory!
