Dino Chiu
Senior Project: Medieval Siege Battles and Warfare
Dino Chiu completed all the requirements for the Advanced Merit Diploma and will be recognized at the Dalat International School Awards Assembly and Commencement. The topic Dino chose to research was on medieval siege warfare. The main focus of his research was on the history of medieval siege warfare and the engineering that went in to the creation of various weapons. His final product was the creation of a model replica of a medieval ballista.
He presented his research and product at the senior exhibition to a panel of judges in November of 2011. Dino maintained a high level of academic excellence while completing Advanced Placement courses as well as serving well over 40 hours of community service during his time in the program.

Keegan Ladner
Senior Project: Blues Genesis - What Made the Blues
Keegan Ladner completed all the requirements for the Advanced Merit Diploma and will be recognized at the Dalat International School Awards Assembly and Commencement. The topic Keegan chose to research was on the Blues. The main focus of his research was on the history and development of Blues music in the United States. His final product was an original Blues piece, composed and written by Keegan.
He presented his research and product at the senior exhibition to a panel of judges in November of 2011. Keegan maintained a high level of academic excellence while completing Advanced Placement courses as well as serving well over 40 hours of community service during his time in the program.

Jasmine Stoltzfus
Senior Project: Chinese Culture: A Study of its Taboos and Etiquette
Jasmine Stoltzfus completed all the requirements for the Advanced Merit Diploma and will be recognized at the Dalat International School Awards Assembly and Commencement. The topic Jasmine chose to research was on Chinese etiquette and taboos. The main focus of her research was on how various situations are governed by cultural protocols. Her final product was the creation of a blog that describes various situations in which etiquette protocol is needed.
She presented her research and product at the senior exhibition to a panel of judges in November of 2011. Jasmine maintained a high level of academic excellence while completing Advanced Placement courses as well as serving well over 40 hours of community service during her time in the program.

Ji Hun Moon
Senior Project: Modern Poetry of Korea
Ji Hun Moon completed all the requirements for the Advanced Merit Diploma and will be recognized at the Dalat International School Awards Assembly and Commencement. The topic Ji Hun chose to research was modern Korean poetry. The main focus of his research was on the history of modern poetry in Korea, its influences, and various modern Korean poets. His final product was the creation of book which contained 40 translated modern Korean poems, as well as an analysis of each.
He presented his research and product at the senior exhibition to a panel of judges in November of 2011. Ji Hun maintained a high level of academic excellence while completing Advanced Placement courses as well as serving well over 40 hours of community service during his time in the program.

David Tse
Senior Project: The History of First Aid Kits
David Tse completed all the requirements for the Advanced Merit Diploma and will be recognized at the Dalat International School Awards Assembly and Commencement. The topic David chose to research was the history of the first aid kit. The main focus of his research was on the evolution of the first aid kit, as well as the various information and medical supplies contained therein. His final product was the creation of several first aid kits, containing a handbook and other instructions.
He presented his research and product at the senior exhibition to a panel of judges in November of 2011. David maintained a high level of academic excellence while completing Advanced Placement courses as well as serving well over 40 hours of community service during his time in the program.

Roc Wu
Senior Project: Symphonies from the Classical Era
Roc Wu completed all the requirements for the Advanced Merit Diploma and will be recognized at the Dalat International School Awards Assembly and Commencement. The topic Roc chose to research was on symphonies from the Classical era. The main focus of his research was on the development of the symphonic structure and how it still serves as the foundation for instrumental music to this day. His final product was the composing of a self-written symphony, modeling the structure of the Classical era.
He presented his research and product at the senior exhibition to a panel of judges in November of 2011. Roc maintained a high level of academic excellence while completing Advanced Placement courses as well as serving well over 40 hours of community service during his time in the program.
