Min Ji Kang

Senior Project: Boehm and Bamboo Flutes

Min-Ji Kang completed all the requirements for the Advanced Merit Diploma and was recognized at the Dalat International School Awards Assembly and Commencement. Min-Ji’s research topic was on the similarities and differences between Boehm and bamboo flutes. She created six original bamboo flutes using authentic bamboo from Thailand.

She presented her research and product at the senior exhibition to a panel of judges in November of 2008.  Min-Ji maintained a high level of academic excellence while completing three Advanced Placement (AP) courses during her senior year.

Paul Kim

Senior Project: The Superiority of Korean Made Hanji Paper

Paul Kim completed all the requirements for the Advanced Merit Diploma and was recognized at the Dalat International School Awards Assembly and Commencement. Paul’s research topic was on the superiority of Korean made Hanji paper. He made one piece of original Hanji paper and then used other manufactured Hanji paper to overlay an end table he had made.

He presented his research and product at the senior exhibition to a panel of judges in November of 2008.  Paul maintained a high level of academic excellence while completing three Advanced Placement (AP) courses during his senior year..

Cindy Wang

Senior Project: History & Development of Billboard Advertising

Cindy Wang completed all the requirements for the Advanced Merit Diploma and was recognized at the Dalat International School Awards Assembly and Commencement. Cindy’s research topic was on the history and development of billboard advertising. She created four original billboard advertisements for Dalat International School .

She presented her research and product at the senior exhibition to a panel of judges in November of 2008.  Cindy maintained a high level of academic excellence while completing three Advanced Placement (AP) courses during her senior year.
