ABOUT THIS WEBSITE
The Dalat International School website has been completely redesigned with today’s web standards in mind, having a fresh new look and improved accessibility. We are always trying to improve the presentation of our school in our increasing digital world. This site has been tested on Safari, and Internet Explorer. Current trends indicate a significant rise in Google Chrome (nearly 80% market share now) and we recommend Chrome as the browser to view this site on.
The site architecture is designed to give you the quickest access to the most important information (icons are links to that feature):
Our document repository many PDF downloads containing key information, forms, and resources.
Our entire school calendar now integrates with Google Calendar and features dedicated timelines on a Calendar category.
Some of the frequently asked questions concerning a Dalat education.
A special feature of this site is that we give you a glossary of some more unfamiliar terms or acronyms that you may encounter such as PTO, SAT, GPA, AP etc.
Issues of Dalat News are all available online via archived pages on this site and also via the email company Mail Chimp.
We now feature Dalat student-curated art and design on our mini exhibitions here on the website.
Every top level menu/department has its own associated color code, this is also reflected in links and the footer site map menu.
This iteration of the Dalat website takes full advantage of advances in mobile technology and cutting edge CSS design. It is one of the most mobile friendly sites we’ve had.
easy to read
We have integrated a full page views on most documents (Handbooks, Eagle’s Eye, Reflector etc). We have scores of key documents and archives hosted via Issuu and we shall be adding other documents over time.
head of school blog
The Dalat Head of School blog is now integrated throughout the entire site with weekly education, community, service, and technology articles.
have you read
On nearly every page several random articles are also presented in the sidebar. This helps you explore new information you may never have read about our school.
An entirely new history section was designed with biographical and video content spanning our rich and diverse history.
Along with Facebook and Twitter, we have also added Instagram to feature some great photo content of students, teachers, the Dalat community, and more.
