The table on the right side of the report provides specific historical data:
Bold Numbers: Your child's actual RIT score and percentile rank are always shown in bold.
Range Numbers: The numbers on either side of the bold score show a standard statistical margin of error, indicating where your child's score would consistently fall.
Percentile Range: This shows how your child performed compared to students nationwide. For example, a percentile of 65 means they scored equal to or higher than 65% of students in the same grade nationally.
RIT Growth vs. Growth Projection: "RIT Growth" shows your child's actual score change from September (Fall) to April (Spring). "Growth Projection" is the target growth anticipated by the system. (Note: Nationally, about 40–60% of students meet this projected target ).
