Note: Fees will vary depending on programs, grade level, and additional options. A 6% Sales and Service Tax (SST) may apply to your fees, depending on the grade level and specific services provided.

Dalat Admissions Policies

All fees and tuition are to be paid in full as of the first day of classes each semester. Alternative payment plans must be approved prior to the beginning of first day of school.
Room & Board fees for late entries will be pro-rated on a weekly basis. No refund of Room & Board fees shall be allowed in cases of early withdrawals under any circumstances.
10% per month late fee is chargeable on all accounts in arrears past 30 days.
All outstanding fees must be fully settled before a student is allowed to attend the new semester.
Refer to Student Parent Handbook for details on charges for late entries and early withdrawals.
Students entering pre-school must be 3 years of age by August 1st. A child must be 5 years of age by August 1st for admission to kindergarten. Kindergarten is a prerequisite for Grade 1.
The Admissions Committee reserves the right to grant/deny admission. Its decision is final and conclusive.

TEMPORARY ABSENCE (POSITION HOLDING) POLICY

In the past Dalat International School has reserved spaces for students due to temporary absence. If you would like the school to reserve a space for your child due to temporary absence, kindly be aware of the following:

Tuition Payment

You need to pay one full semester’s tuition in advance (due by the start date of the semester you are absent).
Upon your child’s returning in the intended semester, 75% of the advanced fee paid will be applied to the that semester’s tuition i.e., 25% will be the one-semester “charge” for holding a spot for your child; 25% of one semester’s tuition will be due upon returning.

Change of Plans

Should you decide not to return to the school in the semester/year your child is scheduled to return, 75% of the advanced fees paid will be forfeited and 25% will be refunded to you.
Should you decide to further delay your child’s return to the school from the semester your child is scheduled to return, 25% of the advanced fees paid will be forfeited and 75% will be carried forward to future semester. 25% of the remaining fees paid will be forfeited each time your child delays returning from the semester your child is scheduled to return. This can continue until the advanced fee paid is fully exhausted.

Upon Return

* all fees must be topped up to the amount as shown in the latest fee schedule in the semester a child returns to school
** temporary absences and extensions can only be for a maximum of two semesters each time.

Malaysian Law

Dalat International School is authorized to educate children holding a non-Malaysian passport.

The Malaysian Department of Education no longer requires permission for Malaysians to attend Dalat International School.

All non-Malaysians must have a valid student visa to study at Dalat International School.
