Withdrawal Process

Dalat requires at least two (2) weeks notice to process transcripts or school records.

Please note that transcripts, records, and leaving certificates will only be released once all outstanding fees are paid and all school materials (books, equipment, etc.) are returned.

How to Request: A transcript request is included in the Withdrawal Form. These requests are automatically sent to the Registrar.

Your school account will be closed upon formal notification of withdrawal. Any holding deposit or excess funds—minus any outstanding arrears or charges—will be refunded via local cheque made out to the parent.

Wire Transfers: Refunds can be made via wire transfer upon request. Please note that all bank fees and foreign exchange differences are the sole responsibility of the parents.

Timeline: If the withdrawal notice was submitted by the deadline, refunds are typically processed within two weeks of the student's last day of school.

Account Closing: To facilitate this process, accounts will be closed for new charges starting in early May (for June departures) or December (for December departures).

Action Required: Please provide the Finance Office with your cheque or bank details to avoid delays.

Any current student who does not report to school on the first day of the term—without prior notification or payment of tuition—will have two (2) school days to confirm their return via email or phone.

If no confirmation is received within two days, the student's spot will be forfeited and offered to the next applicant on the waitlist. If a student is simply arriving late, tuition must be paid in full to hold their seat.

All students and guardians on school-sponsored passes are responsible for cancelling their visas prior to leaving Malaysia. This includes graduating seniors.

Consequences: Failure to cancel passes correctly may cause significant issues when attempting to re-enter Malaysia in the future.

Refund Requirement: Proof of cancelled student/guardian passes is required to receive the refund of your school bond.
