This past Monday was Veteran’s Day, also known as Remembrance Day or Armistice Day. It is a day set aside to remember the sacrifice of soldiers who have fought in conflicts throughout the world. As a school community we took a moment of silence on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month to honor and remember those in the armed forces.

It is so easy for us to take what we have for granted each and every day, a peace and safety that has been provided for us by the sacrifice of others. The cartoon below is a visual representation of that and to me was a powerful reminder

Karl was a student at Dalat and returned with a degree in education as a student teacher, high school principal, and now Dalat Director since 2006.
