Live a Little

As we go through each year I spend time reading articles and books that help me understand, develop, and communicate the theme we have chosen. This week I thought I would simply share two things I read recently that really stood out and grabbed my attention. Statements that really got me to stop and think for a little bit and reflect on my choices and my priorities.

Four Things You Can’t Recover:
The stone after its been thrown
The word after it’s said
The occasion after it’s missed
The time after it’s gone

I Was Dying
First I was dying to finish high school and start college.
And then I was dying to finish college and start working.
And then I was dying to marry and have children.
And then I was drying for my children to grow old enough for school so I could return to work
And then I was dying to retire.
And now, I am dying. . . . . and suddenly I realize I forgot to live.

Have a great weekend and make sure to take time to live a little,
