The Audacity of GRIT

I am excited this week to share a media presentation that was created by one of our own students. In the Digital Media & Technology class (Mr. Arnold), students are taught to produce their own podcast. Using a software program called Audacity, they learn about audio editing and how to use multiple tracks, cut and add audio, use sound effects, etc.

In a recent unit for the class, the students went through four lessons on how to plan a podcast, utilize a variety interviewing skills, organize the podcast (intro, body, and conclusion), and then put it all together to create a professional product. Sarah Stoltzfus chose to create a podcast on the topic of GRIT. I would encourage you to listen to it to learn about our theme and the topic of GRIT, and also to experience some of the media skills our students are learning at Dalat.
