Monday - Friday
3:15 to 3:50 p.m.

A group of young students, wearing colorful shirts, are gathered around a chess board, intently focused on the game.

KICs enrich students' school experience by allowing them to pursue hobbies and areas of interest outside of academics at the end of the school day.

Each quarter students may choose from a variety of adult-sponsored activities, such as beginner violin, fencing, soccer, dodgeball, percussion, music games, improv, chess, gardening, craft, Sudoku, Lego, worship together, craft, diamond painting, and more.

Monday - Friday
3:15 to 3:50 p.m.

Optional X-block clubs are organized quarterly and hosted by teachers after school. They may include sports, arts, music, games, drama, and other subjects that do not fit into the regular school day.

Supervised study halls are also available during X-block for students to work on homework. These may be required for students who are on academic guidance, have extended absences, or those with low grades.

Daily X-blocks are an opportunity for enrichment learning. It is a protected time at the end of the school day designed for academic options that fall outside the school curriculum, such as student government meetings, club meetings, or quiet study halls. They may also allow for more instructional time for certain courses such as AP courses.
