AP World History: Modern is designed to prepare students for the AP World History exam by exploring world history in a sequential order from 1200 to present day. Within the context of the chronology of world history, the course will explore the interchangeable themes of interaction between humans and the environment; development and interaction of cultures; state-building, expansion, and conflict; creation, expansion, and interaction of economic systems; development and transformation of social structures; and technology and innovation.
Students must take the AP World History exam in May.
