Forensic Science

Forensic Science is an activity-based course that applies many disciplines of scientific study to solving crimes. It is a high school science elective course giving students hands-on experiences in various aspects of criminal investigation, and provides an avenue for students to solve real-life crime situations using the scientific method.

Students will learn the terminology and procedures related to the following topics: crime scene processing, evidence, fingerprints, DNA, blood spatter, forensic entomology, questioned documents, and forensic anthropology.
