Geometry

Geometry covers the study of lines and planar figures. Students will examine, prove, and apply properties of figures. Topics studied include lines, triangles, quadrilaterals, circles, congruence, similarity, area, volume, and probability. Students develop their critical-thinking skills through learning formal and informal proof processes.

Grade 10 students may take this course concurrently with Algebra II with teacher recommendation and an A in Algebra I.
