Pre-Calculus solidifies students’ knowledge of algebra and analytic geometry and prepares them for AP Calculus. It is appropriate for those students interested in careers in the mathematical or scientific fields.
Concepts studied include curve plotting and transformations, functions, conic sections, polar equations, parametric equations, trigonometry, and limits.
Technology is introduced to enhance the conceptual understanding and solving of mathematical problems.
