AP Calculus BC includes all concepts covered in AP Calculus AB (the basic concepts and skills of differential and integral calculus: limits; tangent lines to curves; definitions of derivative and integral; optimization problems; curve sketching, function analysis; area under curves; applications of differentiation and integration including determining the volume of solids of revolution and solids of known cross sections) plus the study of additional integration techniques, sequences and series, parametric and polar functions, power series, and vector-valued functions.

Use of graphing calculators is emphasized throughout the course. Students must take the AP Calculus BC exam in May.
