Math 5 meets the common core math standards for Grade 5 and focuses on these areas: operations and algebraic thinking including multiplication and division of both whole numbers and decimals, numbers and operations in base ten and fractions, measurement and data, and geometry. Students will also become familiar with the mathematical practices of perseverance to solve problems, critical reasoning, modeling, and precision.
