A wide range of scientific concepts across the three major branches of science is covered in Grade 6. In physical science, students will investigate the properties of different states of matter and the principles of thermal energy. In the Earth sciences, the curriculum delves into the complex processes of the water cycle, the dynamics of weather, the influence of oceans on climate, the geological wonder of the rock cycle and Earth’s history, as well as the powerful forces behind plate tectonics, earthquakes, and volcanoes.

Lastly, in life science, students will gain a deeper understanding of the building blocks of life through the study of cells and further explore the intricate mechanisms of the human body’s systems.
