In order to keep up with technology’s continued rapid development and change, Dalat middle school’s Integrated Technology classes incorporate project-based methods to connect technology more closely to each of the core curriculum classes. With teacher collaboration, classroom assignments and projects are designed so that students gain practical experience in project management, demonstrating an ability to digitally find information, evaluate its accuracy, and utilize it in varied media to convey the information.
Students use a variety of digital communication technology skills that build upon their knowledge of hardware, software, and internet resources, as well as maintaining digital ethics in their media presentation.
Integrated Technology classes are held weekly throughout the school year.
