One of the highlights of the first semester each year is the three days we as a school set apart to encounter God during Spiritual Emphasis Days. During the week, homework is lessened, sports seasons stop, and classroom time is moderately shortened so that students can engage with God in a unique way.

This year, the theme our Leadership Development class settled on was ‘God Is.’ It’s a simple statement that leaves no question about our position – we believe that God exists and that His presence in our lives changes everything. Each morning and evening, we have been challenged by messages from an amazing team of speakers hailing from Frisco, Texas – Will Perry, Tysha Solomon, Dammon Passons, and Kristi Passons. They have challenged us to know God in the way He has revealed Himself through His Word. From the first day’s challenge to know God as Yahweh – that God who has no equal – to the last chapel which will be a student-led evening with testimonies – we have been invited to welcome God into our daily lives and to experience His presence, His healing, His power and authority.

Each night, we have gathered to worship, listen, and connect with God, and every night we have seen students and adults start or refresh their relationship with Him. For those who have not yet been able to join us, there is still one more service this evening, which involves testimonies from five of our seniors – from 6:30 – 8 p.m. We encourage our Dalat community to gather with us in the presence of God. We look forward to seeing you there!
