“For this week, I have found a video that I think can encourage, motivate, and inspire...it gives a message of hope that we all need to hear.”

In my articles for the Dalat News, I often write with the goal of encouraging, motivating, or inspiring you as the reader. I am not a particularly good writer so I probably do not hit the mark as often as I would like. From time to time, however, I find something that does a way better job than I can. This can be a picture, a quote, a video, or maybe a story. When this happens, I like to use it instead of my simple words.

For this week, I have found a video that I think can encourage, motivate, and inspire. My fear, though, is that those who read this article will not take the time to move the mouse over, “click,” and then watch it. Please make the effort. It is only 3 minutes long and worth your time.

The video I am sharing is a song released earlier this week called “Together” from the group “For King and Country.” The first time I watched it, I liked it. By the third time I watched it, I loved it. The song is written specifically about the challenges we are facing in this pandemic and gives a message of hope that we all need to hear.

I am confident that it will encourage you the first time you watch it. I am confident that it will motivate you the second time you watch it. I am confident that it will inspire you the third time you watch it. If it does, well then, I have achieved my goal this week.
