This morning, middle schoolers gathered in front o This morning, middle schoolers gathered in front of the gym to officially mark the beginning of our newest construction project: a new Middle School building called The Marina. The new facility will be built on lower campus, in the place of the former cafeteria and chapel.

To mark the occasion, alumni shared stories and memories of the older buildings, helping students understand the history of our campus. Now we can look ahead to making more memories that will be part of Dalat’s story.

Student and leadership then prayed over the construction process, which is set to begin over spring break, and the new building which is scheduled to be finished in about a year.

Stay tuned for more info about the Marina!
We wrapped up the final moments of the last MEW se We wrapped up the final moments of the last MEW session last night to pray for those who will be spending the first week of their spring break on mission!

Next week, 29 students and five staff members will be traveling to two different locations for our annual IMPACT trips. One group is heading to North Borneo to work with local ministries and special needs communities. The other groups is going to West Java to work with ministries pouring into at-risk youth.

Keep these incredible students and staff members in your prayers as they go to minister others!

Tomorrow, Dalat will bid farewell to an incredible Tomorrow, Dalat will bid farewell to an incredible staff member. Muniandy, who started at Dalat in 1979 at the age of 16, is retiring! He has been working in the kitchens since his first day, cleaning hundreds of plates, spoons, forks, cups, etc. every day at our cafeteria! We are so thankful for the 44 years of service he has dedicated to the school, and the countless students and families he has gotten to know over the years. Happy Retirement, Muniandy!

"This week I was privileged to attend a retirement "This week I was privileged to attend a retirement celebration for Muniandy, one of our kitchen staff. Muniandy has served in the kitchen at Dalat for 44 years. He started as a teenager and has never worked anywhere else. When someone asked why he had stayed for so long, he said, “This is my family.”

That family connection is an important pillar of Dalat, and I am so excited to have opportunities to celebrate together again as a Dalat family."
